SWF’s Project at the Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank
The SolarWall Foundation supported the installation of a SolarDuct® rooftop system to help reduce the food bank’s heating costs, which ensures that all possible resources will be directing at serving the community. Download the Case Study for more information.
Solar heating systems offer numerous benefits, including large reductions in conventional heating costs, GHG reductions, improved indoor air quality, architectural versatility in the system appearance, LEED® points, and a 30+ year lifespan for the system with no maintenance.
Donations to the SolarWall Foundation will support environmental, cultural and solar heating projects for hospitals, schools and other charitable organizations.

Process
The SolarWall Foundation receives donations from individuals and corporations which are pooled together with existing funds to finance solar, environmental and cultural projects. Donors at the Silver and Gold levels may request that their funds be allocated to a specific project.
The Trustees of The SolarWall Foundation will select suitable recipients for a solar system and then make arrangements with each recipient to initiate a project. Funds are transferred to the recipient once a contract has been signed between the recipient and Conserval Engineering Inc.
Conserval looks after the entire process including initial evaluation, building selection, equipment procurement, installation and final commissioning.
